Lovely campsite on a lake
Met Paula and Andy Cooper and Deb and Mike Lilley and walked into Trinite sir Mer the scenic route guided by Paula. About 6 miles to get there then we had a few pints and in the third place thought they were serving food but they weren't. Ended up eating Ian had steak tartare. I had a couscous with mussels and langoustines. 8/10
Mike ate twice speed of every one then wouldn't share his creek brûlée he protected it with his arms like a sparrow hawk. He said he ate quick cos it was going to go cold.
In the evening we sat in Debbie's van chatting and drinking and learning about spingle spangles
Mike cooked a full English with scrambled eggs on his gas griddle that he had fitted a line to his yak for. The ladies washed up and I said I felt like a Stepford wife as we all walked down with washing up bowls.
Sunday cycled to to Carnac via the menhirs which were spectacular pics to follow made the same mistake of ordering beer before finding they weren't serving food so we cycled back. Total ride about 18 miles. 13 in and 5 back as it started to rain. Had a pretty good meal at the campsite. Calamari risotto followed by Steak and chips. 7/10
Played dominos in van. Ian told terrible joke and couldn't get it out for laughing.
