Interesting clock in Vannes cathedral
Lunch in square near cathedral. They had sold out of specials by 1pm so had asparagus haddock and salad with a creamy mustard sauce and broken egg. Boiled soft. All cold nice though. Then had fish and rice for main and ian has a creme brûlée.
Took 13.5 miles to get there came back direct route on D101 which was quite busy but incredibly windy. Took 1.53 to get there including stop 1.21 coming back but walked out of the city as it was busy. Good facilities at camp

Shitty weather day so walked into baden larmor to book for dinner
I wanted to go to Plein Sud but decided to check out the other places like saveurs Marin and voile Blanche
Turned out that Plein sud only open for lunch and Saveurs was fully booked so had no choice in the end it had to be White sail. Had a couple of drinks at lunchtime at Plein sud and tried to work out how the gambling on the chariot races worked having established that they can only
Trot.
Had afternoon shower and rest before dinner
Ian had the best oysters (tried to get some  at lunchtime from fresh place but we were too late. Also missed the cake shop which didn't open weds afternoon so no birthday cake for me.
I had nothing I fancied as starter but there was a goats cheese salad so asked for that as starter she wasn't sure she could do it so I said don't care cost. It came as just cheese on toast. Dry not the best. Main course was hake on Buerre blanc and rice. Was nice enough. Went to Plein sud for drink before dinner came back  just as it was getting dark played cards slept really well but ian got cramp at 4am woke screaming. Had almost 11 hours sleep.
